Studentpad Registration Pack

If I advertise my property via Studentpad, am I guaranteed to fill it?

No, unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. However, Studentpad is the go to website for students so you are more likely to fill if advertising on here.

Is there enough demand for student housing?

With the University numbers increasing comes more demand for housing however, we are currently noticing more supply than demand. To increase the possibility of renting, we advise that you make your property as appealing as possible.

I’m currently advertising my property with another letting agency, can I advertise with you too?

No, unfortunately not. As we are affiliated with the University, we can not associate or advertise for other agencies. If you wish to use our service, you MUST cease advertising privately.

How much should I advertise my property for?

This depends on the quality and whether bills are included. Have a look through studentpad at other property adverts for some inspiration.

When is the best time to contact you about signing up to the managed or tenant find service?

The end of September/beginning of October.

How do I pay for my advert?

Please call 01792 295328 to pay. We currently can’t accept online payments.

I’m awaiting advert approval, what now?

Thank-you for submitting your advert. Providing you have uploaded the correct certificates, filled in the correct information and paid for your advert, you just need to wait for us to set it live. We check it daily. Any outstanding issues will mean the advert is rejected with an explanation of what is missing.

How do I re-advertise my property?

Please see the landlord documents section for a detailed report on how to do this.

I’m having an issue with one of my student tenants, can you help me?

Due to GDPR regulations we are unable to confirm student details with any potential landlords or advise on problems. Please contact citizens advice for further help.
